The Josh Hamilton Show

Last night’s Homerun Derby was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen…Josh Hamilton put on a damn show in the 1st round. Doesn’t even matter that he lost in the finals. For those who missed it, here’s a recap of his record-breaking 28 HR’s in the first round:

    Hands down one of the coolest things i’ve seen in a while. Not just Hamilton’s comeback story, but the fact that he brought his 70-something year old Legion batting practice coach to pitch to him. Absolutely classic. I can’t wait to see the movie that is eventually made about this guy.

    Justin Morneau getting the Home Run Derby trophy might have been the most awkward award ceremony in recent sports history, after how badly he and the rest of the field were shown up by Hamilton’s display.
