The Bills on Tuesday announced the signing of seventh-round draft selection (219th overall) Demetrius Bell. Bell was the team’s first of three seventh round selections. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Northwestern State offensive tackle started 22 consecutive games at left tackle in his final two seasons and did not begin playing football at any level prior to August 2005. Bell was a Championship Subdivision (1-AA) All- American in 2007 while helping the offense generate 3,996 yards, an average of 363.3 yards per game.
Bell, whose father is the basketball star Karl Malone, is the fourth of the Bills’ 10 draft picks to sign with the team.
It’s a sign…the Bills are making the Playoffs. Now that the Mailman’s son is officially signed, it’s a great omen (next in line: Xavier Omon) considering this site revolves around the Mailman and Buffalo Sports (and hot broads). Where can I get my Super Bowl tickets?
