Please believe a little procrastination was not going to prevent me from commenting on Mr. Big Shot’s Magic Trick in Detroit’s 100-93 game 2 win over the Orlando Magic. Yeah, it was tough for me to grasp at first also. Mr. Big Shot seemed only capable of doing just that, yet of course like a true professional Chauncey has been working on his game. The 0.4 seconds of game clock he used to shoot and make a three pointer in 5.0 seconds was evidence of Chauncey’s vigorous training and studying of David Blaine, David Copperfield, and Harry Potter. How else would you explain such an amazing play? Home cooking? Of course not.
Real talk though congratulations to the Magic for realizing NBA games are longer than 24 minutes, and of course props to the Magic’s oompa loompa Jameer Nelson for bouncing back for game 2.
Kobe Bean Bryant is MVP! Man that feels good to say. Can not count how many arguments I’ve been in about him not making back to playoffs again, about him not getting out of the first round ever again, about him retiring without a MVP award. There is only one more argument left for me to be proven right in…Haters get ready and bring your “A” game.
