So if you haven’t heard Richard Jefferson was arrested Wednesday on charges of assault for grabbing another man by the throat in a Minneapolis club in January. Upon hearing about this so many questions entered my mind did RJ choke-slam the dude did he say, “Does Richard Jefferson have to choke a bitch?” If so RJ gained mad street–cred in one line and didn’t even have to get shot nine times.
Jefferson was in town with the team more than likely on a road trip. Now this was either the night before playing the Minnesota Timberwolves and he knew they were “cake” so he went out the night before or he went out the night after the game because he used little energy during the game. Either way going out was where RJ went wrong. I’m not one of those people who claims athletes should stay hidden away in a cave all the time but I am one of those people who say, why the hell is anyone going out in Minnesota in January. There was probably snow taller than some of the Timberwolves defenders RJ faced.
RJ probably realized how stupid it was to go out in Minnesota during the heart of winter, and that is probably what pissed him off since documents say RJ entered the area and got angry when he was asked to leave.
