Man Thinks Wife Is a Ghost, Assaults Her

STERLING, Colo.A 52-year-old man convicted of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter and beating his wife with a baseball bat because he thought she was a ghost was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison.

McCoy says the distress of having his children taken away after his stepdaughter accused him of the abuse made him go on a drinking binge. That’s when police arrested him on suspicion of assaulting his wife with a bat.

Stupid people never cease to amaze me. You’re clearly pissed off about your stepdaughter being taken away, so you beat down your wife with a baseball bat. Standard reaction. Why use the excuse that she was a ghost? Is that the best you can come up with? Sure, you’re trying to plead insanity but it’s pretty obvious the judge saw right through that one and laughed as he put you in jail for 16-to-life. Nice job buddy, maybe if you told the judge she was an alien he would’ve believed you. Dumbass. Watch out for those anal-dwelling ghosts in jail…they’ll get you.

On a side note: I’m going to try and get so drunk this weekend that I see ghosts. I’ll report back if it actually happens.
