Road to squashing the Flees - Till death do us part
April 21, 2008The Pistons lost to the 76ers 90-86…really!?…no really!? First thought is bull-ish. Second thought is also bull-ish. Like the Pistons last night I didn’t even pay attention to the game until the last five minutes. I checked in just in time to see Reggie Evans hit a turn round fade away jump shot from 20 ft. out with his eyes closed. This happened shortly after he hit two free-throws in a row and Chauncey missed three free-throws in a row… really!? Like the Pistons I viewed this first round match up like the Maui Invitational or the Pre-Season NIT. It’s fun but for the most part it’s a tune up for the when the Pistons bring raid to the eastern conference finals and put to sleep the pesky “Boston Flees.” Yeah, yeah suddenly outspoken “Flee” fan I know you dominated the Hawks but keep in perspective KG’s claim he could barely breath before the game. Can’t wait to see how he breaths at the end of game seven when Pistons are closing the “Flees” out.
Anyone who knows anything about the team that has dominated the east for the past five years (see five straight Eastern Conference appearances and then question that) knows they always let some cupcake squad steel a game. It is frustrating but I’ve come to accept it. Kind a like how a married man accepts that his wife has put on 40 pounds since saying “I do.”

Afternoon Delight
April 21, 2008Fox’s the OC was the greatest show of all time. There might be only one thing better than the OC, and that my friends is the real OC Laguna Beach. They have given us many national treasures such as Lauren Conrad and other hot chicks. However, none have revved my engine more than this little lady…

Bubbles Plays Basketball???
April 21, 2008As I was watching the greatest team in the NBA (the Celtics for all you idiots out there) dominate their first post season game against the Atlanta Hawks, I could not help but wonder what the street junkie from the HBO series The Wire was doing out there. ”Bubbles” played decent role, but that’s all the Hawks are anyways is actors. They play the role of basketball players every day and still can’t make their show half way decent. Here’s to you “Bubbles”. Thanks for a 4-0 sweep and not letting a shitty team beat us in the first game of the post season like the Pistons lost to the Sixers.

Making Breakfast
